SKF VSM to attend annual TMC meeting and exhibition

Elgin, IL – SKF VSM (Vehicle Service Market) will attend the annual TMC meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition (Booth 1323) from February 9 through February 12.  The meeting and exhibition will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

At the TMC exhibition, SKF will showcase its Scotseal PlusXL wheel seal and Rebuild kit for PreSet.

Recently named one of the top-50 products of 2008 by Heavy Duty Trucking magazine, the Rebuild kit for PreSet contains everything needed for wheel end servicing, including two specific, tighter toleranced SKF tapered bearing sets, an SKF Scotseal PlusXL wheel seal, an SKF TF hubcap (if applicable), and a precision machined PreSet bearing spacer.

In addition, all rebuild kit for PreSet components are manufactured to SKF’s and ConMet’s strict specifications. There is only one procedure regardless of axle type when using the rebuild kit for PreSet. This eliminates potential failures due to errors as well as the need for complicated torquing and the use of a dial indicator.
